Poor or no audio
- Check to make sure your speakers or head set is connected properly.
- Check to make sure your speakers are powered on and the volume control on your speakers or head set is turned up.
- Check to make sure your computers sound is not muted and its volume level turned up.
- You may need to reinstall Adobe Flash Player from the Adobe download site. Additionally, check the Adobe Flash Player Support FAQ for more help.
- You are on a dialup or other high latency internet connection, see the System Requirements for more information.
- If you do not have any sounds in Windows, there may be a problem with your system's sound drivers. Contact your computers manufacturer for support.
Slides are not advancing properly
- You can only advance to slides you havent seen once the narration for the current slide is complete.
- Your browser has a local cache which might need to be cleared. Click here for instructions.
- You are on a dialup or other high latency internet connection, see the System Requirements for more information.
- You are using AOL, a Corporate Network, or an internet provider that employs proxy (caching) servers, click here for more information.
- Adobe Flash Player may not be functioning properly. Reinstall it from the Adobe download site. Additionally, check the Adobe Flash Player Support FAQ for more help.
I have AOL
- Use your internet service to connect to the internet.
- Minimize the AOL browser.
- Go to your start menu and open the non-AOL Internet Explorer browser or other recommended browser (if installed).
- Go to www.ContractorsInstitute.com to enroll and access your courses.
